Hanabi is one of them and hopefully, more and more restaurant will slowly start to catch up the trend. Hanabi seems to be typical japanese-korean restaurant in Prague, with a neat wooden interior without many decorations. Their menu include shabu shabu, sukiyaki and mainly korean dishes. They also have an extensive sushi menu.
The place is very Cousy and nice, the service is immaculate considering European standards of abrasive service. The food was superb as well. Great Makis , sashimis and drinks selection. Little pricey but not lacking on the experience side.
The food is good. Not the best I have ever had, but good. Service is friendly and professional. The atmosphere would be perfect if they could fix some details: there is a smoking room very close by the entrance. The strong smell of smoke is the first thing that I noticed entering the restaurant: not the best of the impression. The sushi master has a lot of fish already sliced in front of himself. The fish is wrapped in a lot of plastic and piled on the counter so that there are towers of plastic and fish between the chef and the clients. Of course this is not a dram but I sat in front of plastic film instead that in front of him. Small details.
The only thing I have to say about Hanabi is that it's the only sushi place I'd come to eat in the city. My recommendations are Philly maki, sake salad, the Gojira roll, the Chirashi selection and their new Aburi Rolls are just sex.
So far the best sushi in Prague I had. And I've tried a lot! Interior is very cozy, staff is friendly and chefs are so nice and quick. Favorite place
