I've never been treated so badly. the only saving gnade of the experience was that the woman who gave us our order was kind. Unfortunately, thanks to the old hand of a man, we will never visit this facility again. leb probably mountain king.
Worst food in my 65-year-old. the burger was like rubber and the bungalow was 3 days old. it was really terrible. I went to the window to talk to them and they didn't care a bit. I think. her answer was too bad, so sad and then she went away. the pommes were also oily. this mist went right into the müll. would recommend this place only my worst host. go somewhere else.
Two people ordered chicken grill and bratwurst with sauerkraut and cheese, along with Twill rings. The sandwiches were served on rolls that were only 4 inches long. The dish was overall quite good, considering the age of the restaurant, which has been open for 24 years.
We had dinner here as a family with small children before a few nights and got some quite basic eating, we thought: a burger, a pommes, a few chicken strips, a hot dog and a sub-sandwich. no drinks, no ice, it looked all a...bit sad, no one was full, and it was almost 50. oy. I know that food costs have risen, but that seemed too expensive for us to eat here, also with the Nostalgie factor. we will still come for ice because we love the mountain king, but dinner is from the table, I fear.
We have dined at this restaurant during previous trips to Kaslo and the food was not spectacular, but decent. This year, we decided to order hamburgers and fries to-go as we were staying at a campsite about 15 minutes away from town. We placed our order about 5 minutes before the restaurant's closing time, which may have contributed to our disappointing experience. The burgers were extremely overcooked and difficult to eat, leading us to believe they were microwaved as the cheese on top was completely melted. When we returned to town, I visited the restaurant to express our dissatisfaction, only to be told that we should have brought the burgers back. However, a 15-minute drive back into town would have resulted in the restaurant being closed. Despite our observations of the cook using the microwave just before our order was ready, the staff insisted that they do not microwave anything and that their hamburgers are beloved by all. Unfortunately, they made no effort to rectify the situation and we will not be returning.
