Solid 1980's style Chinese restaurant comfort food.They do all the usual Australia default Chinese dishes; Sweet & Sour Pork, Lemon Battered Fish, Satay Beef, Plum Chicken, Chicken Cashew etc.The sauces mostly seem to come out of a bottle, but the rest of the ingredients are always fresh.Take Cash to avoid the Credit Card surcharge.

May (wait staff) and Sammy (chef) were very welcoming and accommodating. The food was tasty, fresh and plentiful.

Of all the Chinese Restaurants I've eaten at around Western Australia (Broome, Perth, Albany, Narrogin many more............ Sammy's is the BEST. Hope you re-open again Sammy.

Poor guy even gets a bad review when he 's closed that month lols. That 's 'Competition ' for you. PS there 's no real competition to this place in Katanning. I 'm just here for the 100th time, trying to see if he 's reopened yet as he said 'late Feb ' but he 's still closed.. Hurry up and reopen please!! I have withdrawals and cravings, Just take my money!.. Oh.. And don 't expect a great dining experience.. After all it is a large fairly empty ex-church. but for yummy food and reasonable prices.. exceptional for takeaway.
