I am looking forward in April to stay here I have been told it is quite nice and a nice place to stay from Michael
In the afternoon, it was noisy due to a band playing at the hotel next door, but after 5pm it was peaceful for the rest of the night. The restaurant had a secure car park and a great pool. The room was clean and comfortable.
In any other location besides Katherine, this establishment would receive a 1 or 2 star rating. The rooms are small and the toilets are unkempt, yet the prices are comparable to a 4 star hotel in Sydney or Brisbane. However, in Katherine, one must adjust their standards and budget due to limited competition. The gray nomads and RAAF business travelers are willing to pay high prices. Despite outdated information in the rooms, the Coffee Club no longer serves free breakfast. Free breakfast is now available at the Pine Tree Motel a few blocks away (effective July 2022).
I understand this place is to be renovated soon. There was no reception on duty at check in and kettle was missing. This was sorted out after a couple of hours after a call to number provided. Rooms are clean, comfortableand for a couple of nights stay. Parking is fairly narrow and one needs to be careful.
