Savannah Bar & Restaurant - KATHERINE

We had dinner here on a Monday night….you need to book a table. It was busy but the staff did their jobs brilliantly and everything ran smoothly. They gave us water, took our orders and our meals were ready in good time. We had the Japanese chicken and salt and pepper calamari for appetisers, and a 9” pizza and the barramundi for mains. It was all excellent. Decent serves and delicious.

We came to eat here and we’re pleasantly surprised. The cheesy garlic bread was good, the pumpkin and asparagus risotto was tasty and well cooked. We also ordered the curry of the day which was a chicken tikka. All up really good and given how short staffed they were (everyone is in Katherine) it was pretty quick.

We stayed here and decided to dine in after a hard day in the hot springs. We were expecting OK but received amazing. Great meals very efficient and friendly staff. Give it a go. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Staff friendly but inattentive to detail. Mains $30 plus. Food nice, chips as a side cold. Slow with drinks. When we went to pay there was an extra drink on our bill. When the bill was corrected we checked the tab and there was a 3% surcharge for Mastercard. This was not on the menu or verbally relayed when paying. Would not recommend.

This restaurant is located within the Knotts Crossing Resort and offers nice meals in a pleasant setting near the pool. I had the beef cheeks which was a huge serving and tasty. My wife had the barramundi which was also very nice. Very pleasant staff made for a nice evening
