The Sugar Bag Café overlooks the Katherine River and has a good range of food for Breakfast and light Lunch and are reasonably priced. You go up and order and when the food is ready they either bring it out to you or you are given a buzzer that tells you when your food is ready. We ate here several times and it was good every time.
Nice setting. The camp grounds have 3 places to eat and no grocery store. The Sugarbag, The very expensive Cicada and the poolside cafe. Nothing is available for those who want to prep at their campsite. We had sandwiches just before the cruise from the Sugarbag. They were tasty but expensive. The next morning we had breakfast and again it was very expensive.
I visited recently for a work lunch/meeting and was so impressed I came back the next day to bring my interstate visitors for a coffee. Great cake &coffee, the best I've tasted in quiet a while. The customer service on both occasions was good although the young lady who served us on the 2nd day had difficulty with English and understanding our order.
