We went with family and it was very enjoyable. We had tempura shrimp, popular 3 sushi, the peas, spring rolls & green tea. Plus the cheese cake & all was good .
The quality of the sushi is decent. Good presentation of food. Price is decent but slightly higher than most other restaurants consider it is in Lindsay which is an economically depressed town.
The dishes are nicely presented ; unfortunately, the taste failed to deliver. The salmon shouldn't be placed on a sizzling hot plate. It overcooked the salmon, to a dry piece of fish. I guess I could have eaten faster before it overcooked but I always like to ask my wife how her day was and listen. It's also best to have hot cooked rice rather than cooked rice heated up by a microwave. The sushi was good. The seats are not conducive to an long intimate dinner. Sitting on stained plywood is just like sitting on plywood. It hurts after a while. The lighting is also not favourable to "getting close to your wife". It should be more diffuse rather than a flashlight like light hung upside down from the ceiling. It became very distracting. But the reviewers are correct, the waitress was very nice. Overall, when I ask myself if what I spent was worth it, I have to say, no. My wife deserves better.
Angie is so friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh nicely presented and delicious. Highly recommend.
