I've heard good things about this place so I planned a dinner here for my husband's birthday last night. Reservations were at seven, our table was ready when we got there. The place was very busy, which is to be expected on a Saturday night. The waitress took our drink order after about a half hour, and we got our drinks around 7:45...not terrible, considering it was packed. However.... It took over an hour and a half for us to get our appetizers, and over two hours to get our entrées. That is ridiculous. There were only six of us, and we didn't get a ton of food. Mostly just sandwiches and fries. If the food would've been spectacular that would have been one thing, but it was just OK. The burgers were under cooked, and my salmon was completely flavorless. Also, apparently they had the AC on but we were all literally sweating at our table. We had to keep getting up and walking out on the patio for a breeze. Towards the end of our dinner we actually got up with our plates and moved to the bar outside. They need to do something about the air circulation in that place. Additionally, other places we have gone for birthdays we were at least offered a comp drink or dessert. The waitress knew it was my husband's birthday and we were never offered anything. Last thing. From what the server explained to us, they got busy with a lot of walk-ins shortly before we arrived. Ok fine. But when you have a party with a reservation, maybe make a bit of an effort to bump their order up ahead of the 30 walk-in tables. Or maybe that was just her attempt at an excuse for the ridiculous wait time. Bottom line, they have a severely understaffed kitchen for the number of tables they have. So overall not a great experience. And especially not for the price! Our dinner was over $80 for my husband and myself. Not worth it.

They had a special Manhattan steak, never heard of so asked the server. Was told its the best of the New York strip, suppose to be a premium cut. Price was on the high side so my wife and I both ordered it excepting something special. Steak was nothing special, both had a vein of gristle running through it. Manager came by asking how our dinner was told him okay, he was taken aback and pressed why, told him of my issue with the steaks which didn't seem to matter.

I made the reservations online and then tried to call to request outdoor seating for the reservations. I called several times with no answer. When we arrived the sign said seat yourself and there was no host. We arrived about 30 minutes early. I attempted to tell the bartender and one of the waitresses that we had arrived and they were really busy and said they would see what they could do. Guests on the patio would leave and patrons waiting would dash for a table. It seemed that a host would resolve this issue of having to hunt down a table. We eventually snatched a table on our own without the help of the staff. The bartender did comp me and my husband with a beer each and eventually our friends were comped with a beverage each because the service was extremely slow. There is a need for more servers at this location. It felt awkward and like we were inconveniencing the staff with our reservations and request to be seated outside. I will not be making reservations again unless this issue is resolved because I felt like a nuisance. I love this establishment. We 've had lunch here with no issues in the past. But seems the evening brings chaos. I love giving my business to local businesses but some order needs to be put into place.

Made reservations for a friends birthday and the overall experience was just ok. I had high expectations going in as Ive heard some good things about this restaurant. Took forever for the server to visit our table, drinks took forever, dinner took forever. I ordered the salmon-worst salmon i've ever had. I think that is my fault though as I should have ordered a steak. Two friends ordered steak and they were not impressed with the quality and taste. I will say that the scallops were good, however a couple had sand in them. Not worth the money at all!
