A few minutes later, we were told by the staff that we had to move to the other cafe area as they were closing. Why serve us in one area if we were going to be moved? We should have been advised to go to the other restaurant area from the beginning.
The food was decent when it finally arrived, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about this restaurant. The tables were dirty, and there were no utensils or napkins in sight. Despite there being plenty of staff, none of them seemed to be doing much. We waited nearly an hour for our food, and when I finally asked the girl at the front desk, she seemed bothered to have to check with the kitchen. The chef's attitude was less than desirable, as they seemed indifferent to the long wait. While larger parties who arrived after us were served promptly, our food took forever for just four meals. I understand that it was busy, but there is no excuse for such poor service. I do not recommend this place at all, and I will not be returning.
Cafe inside museum.Search for energy cafe sign. Hot food served till 3pm. But all other is great. Good for children and families.
I ordered what was advertised as Fish goujons which we’re 2 hard, dry fish fingers. Awful. The side of sweet potato fries were again over cooked and tasteless. The spicy butternut squash was fine. My granddaughters half pizza satisfied a 12-year old. Small bottle of water for £2 was exhorbitant.
Just came in to get a hot drink(had already had a Marks and Spencer sandwich).ordered the chai latte(makes a change from coffee and tea!)very nice!
