The pub was cozy and the Sunday roast was amazing. We ordered the pork belly and sirloin and nearly finished them all. I never even finished half of it before. The gravy is good enough but you can also try the apple sauce and horseradish cream for both pork belly and sirloin just to have a fresh taste when eating too much meat. The Yorkshire pudding is the best, the texture is so good, not too dry or tough with a bit of natural and sort of milky smell(? , so is the potatoes. They’re all great when you eat them with the gravy! I’m so glad I’ve brought my friend here to try her first Sunday roast! Would definitely visit again!
This is not your ordinary pub food. We were traveling with a big group and reserved several tables to accommodate everyone. The service was excellent and all the dishes were tasty. We would definitely come back again.
I came to this restaurant specifically for their Sunday roast and I was not disappointed! I ordered the 28-day aged roast beef with elderflower fizz (a non-alcoholic drink that was very delicious), along with sticky toffee pudding and a cappuccino for dessert. Everything was incredibly tasty and the staff were very friendly! The gravy on the roast was full of flavor, as were all the accompaniments. I enjoyed my meal on the terrace, which had heaters to keep me warm. This is definitely a must-visit spot while in London.
The restaurant offers a comfortable and cozy setting with delicious food, making it the perfect spot for a traditional British Sunday afternoon. Enjoy a classic roast with a beer, followed by a leisurely walk in the picturesque surroundings.
