I am thrilled to have found a fantastic bakery in our neighborhood. The service is always excellent and the bread is delicious. I also recently tried their coffee and it was really good.
I have been a loyal customer for 3 years now. The staff is very friendly, and they always have great Galette des Rois every January, along with delicious bread and desserts. I particularly miss the perfectly cooked canelés. However, I have one complaint: the pain au chocolat and croissants never seem to be fresh. They are always dry and unpleasant to chew. Maybe they are good when they are just out of the oven, but a pain au choc or croissant should never be served the day after they are made. Even a small independent bakery in my hometown in France can make a perfect croissant or pain au chocolat. Please serve them fresh, not after 24 or 48 hours. I am hopeful that one day they will get it right and serve it the way it is supposed to taste and feel in the mouth. Thank you.
Found this place by accident as it was raining and needed to take some shelter. So by chance, I found the best chicken pie..ever!
The finest breads, chocolate truffles, biscuits, cheese, cookies, and culinary treats that you can find in London. It is expensive but save up for it. You won't be disappointed.
