Halászcsárda - Keszthely

Really good fish. The halaszle soup was very thick and it had a huge amount of catfish. Very good bread, soft and fluffy. Would really recommend the catfish paprikas, very delicious. Good service. Very nice terrace with Balaton view. Good parking.

Food is below average, tasteless even. Prices are in no contrast to the size and quality of the food (extremely small). Location has an okay view of the lake but also a superb view of train tracks. The beer fits the food perfectly, overpriced and tasteless. No recommendation, tourist trap .

Beautiful location and very nice service, unfortunately the dishes served are some kind of culinary misunderstanding. We had an impression that the chef had no idea about cooking. The fish soup was very weak and without any taste and the fried fishes were inedible... fried in deep fat, dry, fatty and smelt badly. Finally, prices inadequate to the quality, for two soups and three dishes plus drinks we paid almost 90 euros. I do not recommend this place for anything else than just drinks.

A tourist trap, quite expensive. Coffee is good, but the strudel was mediocre. It's at a nice place but the overall experience is not so good.

Lovely venue, very bad food. The venue itself is very nice at least the terrace (we didn't go inside). Nicely spaced tables, peaceful view and beautiful flowers everywhere. But the food was just awful. Both meat and fish dishes were dry and tasteless. The food had clearly been prepared hours before and been reheated. Adding that itt is very much at the top end of the price range (we had a much better meal in a real touristy restaurant in Pecs the night before for less money) made this a very disappointing meal indeed.
