Mario's Diner - Kilkenny

I tried the chicken curry and fries at this restaurant, but I wasn't a big fan. The chicken was tough and dry, and the milkshake was not very cold.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The service is fast and the food is served piping hot. It's not expensive and the portions are generous. The atmosphere and setup in the diner are lovely. I'm glad they no longer have a kids area open, as it used to be noisy and parents weren't controlling their children. This was my first time back in a while and I was happy to see that area closed. I will definitely be returning for the food and atmosphere.

The food was delicious, but quite pricey compared to other restaurants.

Had chicken curry chips absolutely delicious highly recommended

It’s a nice diner food is ok nothing outstanding, I’m assuming the diner is more expensive then take out because nearly €15 for batter sausage curry chip and a drink is day light robbery. The staff are nice and friendly. Wouldn’t rush back immediately but the price leaves a lot to be desired at the end of the days it’s only chipper food
