Petronella - Kilkenny

We booked a table having heard how popular Petronella is. So glad we did… there were some tasty looking vegan options to choose from the menu. Between us we had the satay cauliflower, vegetable lasagne and nut roast. All were delicious. So much flavour. The staff were friendly and welcoming, very knowledgable about their menu and even accommodated our request to take away some desert. The vegan apple slice was amazing!!

Got there at 19:25, just in time to get early bird special 17-19:30. Got avocado toast app, lentil/nut loaf main, and berry crumble dessert. All were delicious and the presentation was pretty.

Had a great vegan meal here, lots to choose from! Had chickpea escalope with a superfood salad which was delicious. Could have also picked a lasagna or nut roast. The vegan dessert selection was really impressive, had 4 to choose from and got a chocolate fondant filled with melted chocolate. It was incredible. Would definitely come back for more great vegan food!

Petronella is such a part of Kilkenny lore which is reason enough to go there. The vegan menu is quite diverse, the staff is very friendly. I was so happy with the food, I had an Early Bird and tried bruschetta and the vegan lasagne, which I loved! Can’t wait to go there again. Also the dessert was perfect

Inspired by Cartoon Saloon (yay)Petronella have a few Vegan/Vegetarian options! The vegan nut-loaf with tomato pesto was super tasty! Staff were very friendly. A cozy little restaurant with some beautiful art!
