TVs and rooms are dated, but location makes up for that. The most recent 1 star review a day before I arrived scared me, and thankfully most of it was complete nonsense. To address some of the points no issues walking all the way to my room with skis in hand and snow boots on, nobody said anything WiFi has at least 6 7 networks throughout the hotel, it’s not super fast but definitely enough to run Netflix water in rooms didn’t smell for me and shower brushing teeth was no problem PS: the bad review forgot to mention the sign by the pool that says minimum $25,000 fine if the sliding doors are opened ?
Great location and clean, but that was it.Everything needs updating- old tube TV, rock hard mattress, puzzles as wall art, no bar or breakfast, and short staff (who worked hard). At 11:30 pm they opened our door, unannounced, and woke us up to ask us to turn down the radiator because the pipe was making noise
Leaky roof; water not drinkable and tastes soooo bad just from trying to shower with it; all the amenities and common areas get locked up at 10 pm, like I can’t even sit in the common room on my laptop; shower curtain hasn’t been cleaned for 20 years. Still have the audacity to charge high rates during ski season. If you have a choice, don’t stay here.
Accommodations are great with wonderful amenities (heated pool and hot tub); not to mention I have never met such kind-hearted people when it comes to the owner and employees.
We have a small ski club and take several trips every year. The Cascades came recommended for what it is, a clean property located close to the mountain. The mountain shuttle picked us up and dropped us off at the lodge. The breakfast was exactly as described. I recommend visiting the bar when open. We knew about the water coming from a well with high minerals. This property served our needs well and never represented itself as something it wasn't.
