The coziest and friendliest restaurant at killington! The portions are hardy and services is really fast. Perfect place for any dead head after a day of skiing
Based off the other reviews, we thought we found the place!!! Unfortunately, NO. The fries were phenomenal though!!!!!! Those get 10 stars! Other than that, we were not impressed. Especially for what it cost. Award Winning Mac n Cheese??? If the award is for bland, then yes. Beers that we wanted were out. Skirt Burger was super disappointing. We had envisioned a gooey mess of fried cheese curds oozing over the burger like described by the waitress. The cheese curds were fried to a flat crisp. I don 't know if ours was just extremely overcooked, and they knew we weren 't from here, so they let it ride?? Or if this is actually how it 's served and EVERYONE loves it!? I prefer my cheese to be melted, not like crackers. Sorry I didn 't take any pictures. Waitress was distracted and forgetful, and she only had one other table. Sorry guys, I really wanted to love this place. I can make a better burger at home for 1/2 the price. Train is cool.
My favorite spot in Killington for a burger and fries!
We needed a spot for dinner between Woodstock and Rutland we saw Casey’s Caboose on the map and figured we’d give it a try. So glad we did! The mac n cheese deserves whatever award it got. Burgers were incredible and very fresh. Food feels on the pricier side, but the quality is worth it. The staff is so accommodating they were super short staffed when we went, and they still made sure we got seated in a timely manner, and we really didn’t wait that long for our food either. Would totally recommend!
