Bruce Steakhouse - Kincardine

Food 3.5/5 Steak 3/5 -was well cooked (medium well done) but still bit chewy and dry The onion ring served with it was great (rings 5/5).

After several recommendations, we decided to check out The Bruce for wings The wings were all right"Okay" was the word my husband used.

We returned to the Bruce this year after a two year absenceIt was still a wonderful place to have dinner.

A popular favourite pub by locals and visitors — enjoyed dinners here on a few occasions. Live entertainment on weekends and evenings to enjoy a meal. Traditional pub foods. Well-priced. Good service and friendly staff. When busy, longer wait times - order an appetizer :)

We were in Kincardine on a Monday night. None of the nicer restaurants are open on Monday, so we were looking for a meal. Opted for the Bruce based on the menu and the patio. This is a hotel (as in 'bar') with a dining area. They have a nice patio at the back which looks out to the water. This is by far the best spot to sit. That involved a 10 minute wait, which was fine. Having read the reviews, we were a bit skeptical, however, if you take it as a pub that serves steak, you will get a good meal. This is not fancy, fine dining. They know their meat, fish and fries. We ordered the fish tacos with fires and the explosion salad with the salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly! The salad was great and the fish tacos and chips were very good. (we shared). Our patio table allowed us to enjoy the fantastic sunset with a glass of wine. We ordered dessert to take with us -- it was super! In the end, I would return for good pub food and a view at very reasonable prices!
