Had a really good steak. Quiet atmosphere. Great place to take your lady or that first date with a touch of elegance.
It is my first visit to Kincardine as my new employer's head office is located nearby. Having had several "casual dining" type meals and one sushi meal already this week, I decided to try the Indian food at the Sunrise Grill, a short walk from my hotel. I ordered the chicken curry combo. The gentleman who took my order (I assume it was the owner) asked me to take a seat and headed to the kitchen. It was not an overly long wait (about 20 minutes) and I could hear my meal being prepared. He returned with my curry, naan (not rice as per menu) but no salad, explaining that he had ran out of lettuce so he had given me an additional naan and would give me a small discount. Took the food back to my hotel room and watched what would be the last Jays game of the season. I was very pleasantly surprised. The curry was very good. I can handle spice and this had enough heat. Lots of chicken. It was way too much food for just me! I put half of it in the fridge in my hotel room and will have it for breakfast!Looking forward to trying more of Sunset Grill's Indian food offering on future trips
Went for dinner and ate off the Indian menu. Appetizer and mains were both good. Plenty of food, we couldn't finish the mains. Entire meal for two people was $30. Great place.
Went in to Kincardine to pick up some groceries on first day of camping at Inverhuron, went here after walking the main street looking for a place to have breakfast. Food was very good and hot; my teens loved the home fries. Friendly staff.
