Main course was a little cold and the service was slow. The setting is beautiful though, the Hotel sent a car to collect us and the same driver drove us back on the sea tractor which was great fun. The driver was very friendly and helpful. Our waiter was fairly attentive

We booked for Sunday lunch to experience Burgh Island Hotel and were blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we arrived the surroundings were exactly how we had imagined and it was exactly like stepping into a bygone age, which was exactly what we had hoped. The staff looked professional in their outfits, were extremely friendly they even offered us free of charge, a ride in the hotel back across the beach and dropped us directly where our car was parked the food was delicious, we began with a cocktail, had a delicious course Sunday lunch and sat in the lounge after for coffee and petit fours. A little walk around the gardens revealed the hotels private beach which was stunning. Whether we are lucky enough to visit again someday I do hope so this was a truly wonderful experience

What a fabulous Hotel. It was like walking back in time: the decor was amazing. The staff were fabulous and the food and drinks were out of this world. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had a devine unch. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were attentive without being invasive. Would definitely go back again

The view is beautiful from the hotel but the food is really below any acceptable level, tasteless and not special and also very overpriced
