Last visit I had the turkey apple cheddar sandwich, which tasted several days old and had soggy rotting apple slices in it. The southwest chicken wrap today was 50% tortilla, with little filling, and was stale. I really hope Cogro gets back to the quality it once was, because this was one of the best spots for affordable on campus foods.
Great atmosphere to study and enjoy a coffee and bagel for less than $10. Their staff are so kind and sweet, they always great cute messages on your to-go cups too! Ingredients are so fresh and the price is unbeatable. Especially compared to commercial coffee shops like starbucks, if you ordered their food compared to Cogros it would be double the price and poorer quality. Cogro offers bagels with sprouts and avocado for $5, both expensive ingredients I cannot get anywhere else for that cheap. And the quality is still amazing despite the price. Wait times for such a busy place are very short, but even then, they have their own free app you can mobile order ahead with.
Very friendly staff! I was accidentally given the wrong size, but they fixed it immediately! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nice place to study on campus. The drinks and cake are great. I find their other food items are not the greatest. People are nice but the service is slow. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
In terms of atmosphere and service, Co Gro has always been a fantastic place to study and chat. The food/drinks however has been super subpar lately. Especially with the price increases, the portion of the food that you get is really not worth it anymore. I paid almost $8 with tax) for a bagel and I was still so so hungry : . My biggest criticism is that the add on for protein is $1.50, but you only get one really thin slice of ham. Timmies downstairs is much more filling for less. I think its misleading to say that it is a place with prices reasonable for your student budget. Just my two cents
