Red House - Kingston

We enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner at this location @ 629 Fortune Cres.Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon so good choice of seating. Also patio seating available. Reasonable prices. We had fish & chips. EXCELLENT! Served extremely fast and it was good and hot. Hand cut fries and homemade tartar sauce was superb. Great selection of beers/ales on tap.

My husband had heard of this restaurant from several friends so we decided to try it. I had the fried chicken sandwich and my husband had the chicken club and chicken rice sandwich. The fried chicken was breast meat and was a nice size. The batter was amazing with just a bit of a bite. My husband's sandwich was very yummy and and his soup was amazing with tons of chicken.

Staff wonderful and very social! Drinks selection great! 3rd visit in 4 years and still fantastic. Summer or winter

They have a decent beer-list for local and commercial brews, they're food is good and the bar has a great atmosphere.

We sat outside on a pleasant Saturday afternoon. The staff were helpful, prompt and upbeat. I had an open faced roast beef sandwich accompanied by a small Caesar salad. The sandwich was tough, filled with gristle. The Caesar salad had absolutely no taste. We also split an order of french fries. They were delivered cold. Our experience was very disappointing. Too bad really, because the staff were so good.
