Beautiful aquarium, best place I have ever been to so far. There are tons of floors and animals, ranging from tiny jelly babies to great exotic sharks! The parking costs £1 from 6pm 6am £3 from 6am 6pm. We had no troubles finding a space to park. Inside the aquarium, you can find lots of information boards, telling you lots of things about that specific type of animal, a Gift Shop, and also a variety of fish, penguins other exotic animals. I 100% recommend this aquarium to anyone as it contains both stairs and lifts for anyone to use.
We visited after staying nearby. My children loved it! Definitely worth booking in advance though as people who didn't were being turned away. Your tickets can be used for 12months after too! The aquarium was great, staff were friendly and knowledgeable also approachable. There was a lift which travels through the water which took about 20 minutes to queue for. Lots of stairs to get to the start or a lift. We wouldn't travel just to go here but if we are near by again we will definitely pop in again. It filled a couple of hours and that was a leisurely pase around.
Great place for kids. Very interactive. Keeps children entertained rather then just looking at tanks. The shark tank was a let down though. Seemed very small and just not what we were expecting. Same with the penguins. Would have been nice to see more about the British seas. But generally a great place. Food expensive as you would expect. Parking is a bit of a nightmare too.
We had a fantastic experience that our kids (ages 3 and 1) absolutely loved, and we enjoyed it as parents too! There were a lot of fascinating fish to see, along with various informative and educational displays. While the café wasn’t impressive, the overall experience was excellent. Plus, the entrance fee allows for unlimited visits within the year!
