Merchants House Cafe - Kirkcaldy

In a city with limited vegan options, it is refreshing to see vegan choices on the menu. The vegan sausage is of good quality and makes for a delicious breakfast dish. However, the real highlight here are the cakes, which are truly spectacular! (Review updated as of August 7, 2021)

Wow, what a hidden gem! This small cafe may have a basic menu, but everything is made from scratch and absolutely delicious. The cakes are particularly impressive and generous in size. On my first visit, I enjoyed a tasty panini served on a large plate, accompanied by a fresh salad with flavorful dressing and hand-cut chips. The cakes are a must-try, with a variety of options available. I will definitely be returning to this place!

This charming little cafe is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is made to order using fresh ingredients. Be sure to try their cakes, as the selection looks absolutely amazing. You will leave feeling very pleased with your visit!

In a group of 3 we tried the cheesecake of the hell, the forest cake and the heavenly cake, and they were all absolutely delicious. the mocha was also amazing, and they had soy milk available. will definitely come back, some of the best cakes I ever had at such a fair price!

A so beautiful place booked on the morning via FB ambassadors and the staff was very friendly and polite. a table had been booked over the back when a baby came with a buggy. Eating is great, fresh and quick to get out. we had sandwiches and a baked potato for lunch and of course left place for a coffee and cake afterwards! the kokoskuchen is amazing and the discs are very generous! the staff is also very friendly and friendly. can't wait to visit again!
