While waiting, I listened to Indian/Pakistani music playing in the background, which seemed out of place. When I received my sandwich, I was surprised to see it was wrapped in a Mexican tortilla instead of the traditional pita bread. The taste was not what I was expecting - it was filled with lettuce and tandoori spices, making it nearly inedible. As a Middle Eastern person, this was far from a traditional shawarma wrap. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, despite the good service. I recommend going to a different shawarma shop for a more authentic experience.
This restaurant experience was terrible! The shawarma was mostly lettuce with very little meat. Some toppings were missing and there was hardly any sauce. The atmosphere was dirty and unsanitary. What a letdown! I also observed the servers making two shawarmas at a time, which may be why some customers are receiving cold shawarma. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.
I would not come back to this restaurant even if the food was complimentary. The falafels were terrible, whether in wraps, plates, or bowls. It seemed like they were just thrown into a tortilla with strange sauces and veggies, lacking any Mediterranean flavors. The garlic sauce tasted old. The service was extremely slow and our group received their orders at different times, making it impossible to eat together.
It is a place to grab quick Lebanese food, so I don’t expect the best service or atmosphere. But the food here makes up for everything. Delicious! I usually get chicken shawarma plate/salad.Food: 5/5
