Our starters of garlic mushrooms and Stilton and broccoli soup were delicious. For the main course, we both chose the beef with a tasty red wine gravy. We requested a break before dessert and were pleasantly surprised with a selection of cheese and biscuits as well as New York cheesecake. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and I would definitely consider coming back for either an evening meal, which would have cost £35 per person for three courses, or for Sunday lunch.
The food was delicious, but the service was slow and not very polite. Shelby at the front desk did not say please or thank you once we paid our bill, which was quite disappointing considering the amount we spent. The restaurant's atmosphere was lacking. Overall, the food was good but there were some issues with the service.
This restaurant was a disappointment compared to previous years. The bratkartoffeln were lukewarm and I have had better Christmas meals at work canteens/restaurants. The Christmas man came out and gave everyone chocolate, but managed to miss someone at our table. Overall, it was not worth the money for a Christmas outing.
Fantastic eating to great trips between pfund for courses nice menu with much to choose.
We were added to the restaurant, which offers a cozy, attractive ambiente. our appetizers were beautifully presented and delicious; I had root hummus with pitta brot, and my man had chorizo and black pudding cracks, both were a bit different and very pleasant. For...mains, I had the brat ente with honey and fresh coward, which I cannot praise very enough. it came with plenty of fresh vegetables. my man chose gammon and i.e. the gammon was huge, delicate and well refined. we had dessert, and I would recommend the sticky toffee pudding. an excellent meal.
