Hahndorf's Fine Chocolates - Upper Ferntree Gully

After completing the 1000 steps and having lunch, I decided to visit Hahndorf's Fine Chocolates to pick up some chocolates. Were they fine? Yes, they were. I tried the passion fruit ones and some chocolate mousse ones and they were absolutely delicious with coffee. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, so this should say it all.

Whether you eat or take away, you won't find better hot chocolate. You have a signature hot chocolate in white, milk or dark chocolate plus all usual hot and cold drinks and limited but very nice lunch menu, cakes and ice cream. All drinks come with a free chocolate of your choice. The café is large and comfortable with outdoor seating, if preferred.

Great place to have your coffee and chocolate, just a few minutes walk from the 1000 levels. Under new management, the new people are really friendly.

Met a friend for the first time visit, but had only previously bought chocolate for chrissie gifts. Yes place could be needed in some DC, but it is a beautiful atmosphere independent.
