Balthasar - Köln

I've been in "Balthasar" with my family to enjoy a good breakfast. The breakfast was very tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The location is pretty good-looking and harmonic. The service was friendly.

I really love this place . You can sit outside and enjoy the food especially in the summer . The food here is amazing . The wine is perfect . The service is as well very good . They are quick ,not always very friendly , but good service . You get homemade bread to start with and tasty olive oil with Balsamico salt and pepper . You should try it !

Modern decor, full bar and a very varied menu with a little bit of every type of cuisine and also a section for steaks.party of 2 for lunch, started with a Thai salad, fresh crisp and tasty and I opted for the vegetarian curry and my guest opted for the steak. food was fresh and tasted good. I would visit again.

Had a good steak here but it was quite expensive and does not come with veg or accompaniments. I had pepper sauce and potatoes on the side which made it an expensive meal. Meal good, beer good, service good. They can be busy.

Food is OK, but most of the staff is the issue (friendliness), but there are worse places in Cologne. Try to be nice to the waiters or just ignore them or treat them bad and you might have a nice evening.
