The gentleman with the lovely eyes who served me was by far the friendliest person I've encountered in Hawaii during my week here. That alone would have earned the place a five-star review. However, when I tried the brisket and found it to be the best I've ever had—better even than what I've tasted in Austin, TX—it truly made my day. He also offered me a rib because I couldn't decide which to pick and even included some burnt ends, which are my favorite!

This man knows what he's doing. Brisket and links were fantastic. Sauces were complicated and the vibe added. Great potato salad too! Get here while it's open, every good smokehouse sold!
