I've lived in Istanbul for six years, and every time I call, they kindly send me kebabs by courier. I've even flown to Konya just for a day, multiple times, just to enjoy their kebabs. That's how one becomes addicted to Ali Baba!
This was the best tandır I tried in Konya. The prices are reasonable. The only downside is that they don't offer open ayran, and they have Doğanay şalgam.
I hate to admit it, but I have lost count of how much meat I’ve eaten here (I’m saying this because of the place itself). I have never tasted such incredible meat before. It was the best and most flavorful I’ve ever had, and the taste is still lingering on my palate. Anyone visiting Konya who doesn't stop by will miss out on an amazing delight. And for those living in Konya who don't visit, it’s truly a great shame.
Great little restaurant with friendly hosts and very good service. Only one product on menu (Firin Kebap), that was very delicious. Not too expensive.
This was my first and unforgettable meal of Konya. There is always something special about the slowly cooked meat. And if this meat is lamb and its boiled with lamb fat I guess it will be super amazing and delicate natural. I was somewhat skeptical to add this raw onion in my bite, but when I tried it, it made a good pair. Naan bread not sure what this is called was also very fresh and soft. And how can you forget Ayran? Right?
