Great local bar with a variety of beers. The (vegetarian) spaghetti bolognese is well known in the city and very delicious. Order with a portion of cheese.

A classic across the library. Always great for a drink with friends. Food is basic, just, but will save you if looking for a simple lunch or late dinner when everything else is closed

Good place to take beers and to eat. Cheap and well. Center of Leuven. Local place for everybody.

Very nice bar with local, simple food prepared in the same room you are sitting. Small menu with well priced classics. Don't go for fancy food, but do go for a great atmosphere and decent amounts of relatively healthy food. Good beer selection and great staff.
