Ρούκουνας - Κρήτης

Charming tavern in small village in Crete. The food is delicious — you can order chicken, pork or lamb slow cooking in the fireplace. On the other hand, portions are relatively small, especially small ammounts of salad, rice and potatoes. In the picture you can see slow roasted lamb. Highly recommend:

I've been working here the whole summer and Roukunas has been my absolute favorite restaurant! Would go there once a week at least. The owners are just lovely and the food is so fresh and delicious! Couldn't recommend it more.

After my 5* hotel I thought Greek food is meah. After 1 dinner in this restaurant I think it is the best!!!
