Extremely friendly service by the owner who gave us dessert for free and drank raki with us (also for free). The prices are definitely cheaper compared to the other restaurants in the village square. Despite this, the owner didn’t force us to order anything and even told us once that we ordered too much. We had a lovely conversation with him in the end and he told us that the locals also visit his restaurants and overtime he has adjusted the price levels to accommodate the locals as well.

Delicious food, super friendly owner, free dessert and Raki after the meal — this place is great! Definitely recommended! Also, the prices are almost too cheap considering what they offer.

Incredibly tasty food — we had a few of the meze options (feta cheese saganaki and meatballs, both great and both specials (moussaka and stifado — amazing! All dishes were the best we had from the week we were on the island — including a few of the other tavernas we tried in the same square. Highly recommend!

Fantastic family-run restaurant at the square in Old Chersonissos. The food is all homemade, delicious, good portions and good prices. Complimentary olives, bread, dessert and raki. The lady who runs this place is very friendly and attentive. The daily specials and Greek salads are highly recommended.
