Real Greek food like you wouldn't find anywhere in Chania, Rethymno or Iraklio. The drive is doable with a normal car, though it can feel a little adventurous at a couple of points. Not only is the food amazing, the service is excellent. Definitely try the Mousakka and the ντάκος! I had one of the best meals in Crete here. A nice family run taverna with delicious food and great staff. The tzatziki was INCREDIBLE!!! The staff were absolutely brilliant and we spent most of the evening laughing with them. Such good vibes and really fun and easy. I will definitely be back. Thank you

Staying at the hotel nearby we have spent quite many evenings in Apsida tavern and each our visit left only positive emotions. The food is delicious absolutely every time, friendly staff always ready to explain any questions and provide all the best they have for all the guests to enjoy.
