Staff are friendly and helpful. Price is affordable. Food variety is plenty, thai and indonesian. Tom Yum seafood has plenty of ingredients inside but if you have very acidic tummy, i suggest you don't take it without any rice because it is very sour. Lemongrass drink, asked for no basil and lemon and it came without : added some honey and it was perfect. Pai Tee bottom part is abit soggy. Mango Salad prefer to have with nuts. Ayam Penyet is not bad. Noodles are nice. Overall decent place for a meal.
Quite a food winner for our palates. What did we tuck into, in this rustic, spacious and ample space to move around dining area? Pucuk Paku Thai Style, Seafood Red Tom Yum, Mushroom Omelette, Steamed White Rice and for dessert, Durian Sticky Rice. Oh, also, nibbling over crackers, paired alongside Thai Sambal Belacan, which we didn’t order, but served and billed for. The best among these dishes? Pucuk Paku/Vegetable Fern and Durian Sticky Rice. Durian Sticky Rice especially is still unforgettable till this day. Durian flesh, coconut milk and sugar in tandem, generously soaking the grainy, soft, steamed glutinous rice. Wow! Simply splendid. Overall, Ginger Restaurant won us over.
Not the best Thai food I have ever had but it's still good after doing a bit of shopping at central market.
Instagrammable : 4/5 Environment : 4/5 Food Drinks : 4/5 Prices : 3/5 Places for : Family/Friends The food is good, the ambience of the restaurant is excellent but they take their time tooooo long to serve our food. Even though we’re asking them to pack one leftover food, they still take more than 15 minutes (just to pack).
