Raja Punjabi Food Corner - Kuala Lumpur

I was there because of the amazing reviews that were here before me, but I was quite disappointed. I have two chapati and could choose 3 different curries from their buffet. the chapati was ok, the curries were not tasteful and did not taste so fresh. I have some lemon juice with him and it came to rm 10, I can eat definitiw at a similar place for much cheaper. I felt kind of overloaded. would not go back and would not recommend.

Humble place with humble praises, but great tasting and authentic Punjabi food with friendly service

This new food court is located on the ground floor of Kompleks TLK Brickfields. It's easily visible once you locate this building. There are 4 Indian vegetarian stalls including Gopala, who has moved here few months ago . Most of them are closed on Sunday. Raj is the owner of Raja Punjabi vegetarian stall no signboard yet . He has been serving authentic Indian food for 22 years. We love the freshly made fluffy chapati and chickpea curry. Whether we order chapati or rice, we can choose the dishes from their buffet counter and add the quantity we want. Their food tastes good and prices are cheap. We came here several times, the price for 2 set meals with 3 dishes plus coffee is about RM14 only. We prefer this stall because of the chickpea curry and many other dishes taste good too. They use onion and garlic. All dishes are vegan except some beverages with milk. Raj and his assistant are friendly and service oriented. It's a recommended place for authentic Indian vegetarian food. Updated from previous review on 2018 04 11

I think this place is important because the food, ironic, is better than most restaurants in this area, although the place is not so convenient compared to a restaurant. There are more vegan menus than vegetarian menus. Just talk to the owner. He'll take you through. But say it slowly and keep it short. I want to give it almost 3 stars because the food is only average, and the place is not pleasant. I gave 4 stars because the food and price highlight compared to the rest of the environment. It is located at KL sentral so that the price of food is higher than you can come from suburbs.
