Everything was perfect apart from the sweet desserts. Savoury food was delicious!

Very beautiful environment. Me and my husband enjoyed our afternoon tea very much! Thank you for the outstanding service which gave us a memorable dining experience. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the music performance as well.

Lovely ambience in the Colonial Cafe though the room was actually quite cold! Cakes, sandwiches and hot snacks were delicious. Scones were a little disappointing. Service impeccable. We took what we couldn’t eat home. A must try at some point just for the experience. Will try the orchid room next time.

Savory Delights is good, Sweets isn't. Scones texture and taste could be better, less sweet would be good as there's sweet jam and fresh cream to pair with. Cakes and moose cake doesn't wow, too sweet overall. Love the song's played by pianist, service team is attentive. Thank you.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food at the restaurant. However, the overall experience was not as good as other major hotels that offer traditional high tea. This mainly comes down to a lack of proper training. There was no clear check-in area for our table when we arrived, and there was no simple menu card with available food options, tea and coffee choices, and pricing. Even though the menu was mostly the same as other places, these little touches can make a difference. Our drinks, especially the coffee, took a long time to arrive, and no one offered us a refill. We only received one glass of water despite being a couple. Despite these shortcomings, the food was very good.
