Zum Monchshof Brauhaus

We called into the village of Kulmbach to visit the Bayerisches Brauereimuseum and next to it was Monchshof Brauhaus. It was very busy with locals enjoying lunch and beer. We ordered the Weiner Schnitzel and fries along with a salad. It was a very big...meal; the meat was a little dry, but it was a pleasant meal. The beer was cold and enjoyable

Visited this place a few times over the last few years and the menu hasn't changed in all that time, so the food choice is limited. That said what they produce is very nice indeed. As is usually the case in these places the staff...are very friendly and welcoming. The beer is very good and served to your table by staff in traditional dress, which is a nice touch. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, so I hope you get the weather that lets you use the outdoor tables. If the food choice were a little more varied, this place would be excellent
