Kaddys Cafe - KYNETON

Chose this on a whim passing through (2 adults 2 kids). Always a good sign when a cafe is busy and almost all baked goods have sold out. Friendly service and absolutely delicious pies. This is what country quality food hospitality is all about.

Kaddy's Cafe was busy as it was a long weekend, and the staff were very apologetic for the wait. Although there is table service, you order at the counter. We had meals and drinks which were delicious and well presented. The prices are quite reasonable, also. We did not try their selection of cakes and slices, but they all looked freshly home made.

We asked if they sold vanilla slice. Out the back they went and brought us out freshly made vanilla slice by owner/chef Angie. Absolutely beautiful Staff were very friendly and chatty. Even coming to our table to ask how we were enjoying them. It was a last minute drop in for us from the Mornington Peninsula and we will be back!!! Will most definitely come back when heading anywhere near that way

What a wonderful hostess and fabulous breaking. Sat in the back outside garden in the sun, great way to start the day. Hannah C.
