Canyons At The Crossings At Carlsbad

The experience, the staff and views were great. The course, not so much for the . Fairways were really fluffy, rough had a lot of dry spots different types of grasses/yellowing/dead. Tee boxes and greens were full of unfixed divots and fungus. Was looking forward to play here for many years, disappointed on the quality.

Slowest course in SoCal. Two rounds. One at 12:30 took 5 hrs. A few days later an 8:20 round takes 4hrs and 45 minutes. Waiting on every shot. Save your sanity. Find another course.

The Crossings at Carlsbad is an excellent JC course that is kept in great condition and gives you challenging holes through the course. For me, I wish it was only 14 holes because the last 4 holes are just too difficult for this old guy. The 17th green and 18th hole are just unfair!

The food was extraordinary with great amounts. I highly recommend the French Beef Dip and the New York Steak.
