Fantastic! The Peruvian soup absolutely blew us away. The chef greeted us and told us about the different dishes it was so easy to see how much pride he took in his work. His warmth and friendliness alone were reason enough to go back, but then he started bringing out the dishes and we were in heaven. If only we could get his food back in the US...

My favorite restaurant in the whole country. Seriously. When I tell people about La Fortuna, I tell them 1) you will never see the volcano, because it's eternally hidden in clouds. But then I lighten the mood and tell them about hot springs, and about Chef Martin. It's the only place I eat when I'm there. No other place comes close for me!

Beautiful culinary experience for a very correct price. The chef and his wife are adorable and you can see them cook from your table. I recommend!
