Agua by Larbi Restaurant - La Querencia

The absolute BEST service I've ever had at any establishment worldwide. Benito was the epitome of excellent customer service and I cannot send enough praises to him. He was so observant of every minute detail, ensured the 4 people on our table were taken care of at the drop of a hat and all of his food drink recommendations were unmatched. The food, drinks, ambience, resort were all top of the line and my party enjoyed everything so much. We will definitely be back to Agua whenever next we make the 5000 mile journey to Cabo. Benito is the #1 reason for our future return and I hope he gets all of the great things coming to him! I'd definitely recommend going to Agua, requesting to be in his section and getting the Oysters to start, Agua Signature (to share , the Mexican Risotto for a seafood lover and the Pork Belly Octopus entree. They were all to die for but those Oysters were something special. HIGHLY recommend Agua and especially Benito for anyone headed to Cabo :

Several friends have been staying at One and Only for years and raved about everything there. So I was pleased to join then for dinner on a Saturday night. The setting is lovely and the training and attention when I arrived were excellent. The waiter in the bar was friendly and attentive. We went to be seated and asked for one of the outside tables, which was not available. No problem the inside area was nice and we could see in the kitchen. Wine and cocktail list were strong, and the sommelier was knowledgeable and kept wine glasses filled. The menu looked interesting, with inventive sounding dishes. Food was good but, I thought, not amazing. The major issue is that the service was, according to my friends, the worst they had ever experienced at the resort. There were minor mistakes like delivering the wrong drink that were never corrected. The bigger issue is that service was just incredibly inattentive. No one ever checked on how things were, random folks dropped things off, and there was just a sense that our table was an after thought. At 90 minutes we had been served and eaten our apps and had to flag someone down to get our entrees. Then flag someone down for dessert menus. A large party came in after us and left before we had entrees (and we were a 4 top! . If this was one of the tourist restaurants downtown I’d have been less annoyed and probably given 3 stars. But at this price point and with the reputation of the resort, you expect at least good service if not warmth, focus and proactivity. And to be fair, maybe this was just a really off night but here also you expect places like this to not go so far off the rails.

One of the best places my wife and I have ever been. Excellent service and the food is delicious at any time of day. You will pay for your experience, but it is MORE then worth it!!
