Contribuisci feedbackWith a lot of new milk tea places opening to satisfy our cravings, Gong Cha stays as my favorite place. They offer a LOT of flavors but I still think GC Milk Earl Grey (at 30% sugar, with pearls) is the best. Another go-to order is GC Alisan.
Gong Cha is still my favorite milk tea place. If you’re new to drinking milk tea here I recommend the GC Milk Earl Grey, or just the Earl Grey will do. It’s really good! I like it better than winter melon. I always have my sugar level at 0% coz I feel that the pearls are sugary already. If you love toppings in your drink try their Milk tea with 3 js, I order than on days when I like to chew more than drink. I just hope they put a big visible trash bin so that people are encouraged to throw their trash before going out.
GC Milk chocolate is the best milktea flavor among all!! The mixture of milk and the chocolate was very equal. you will never go wrong in Gong cha
GC Milk Wintermelon.. 4/5 less 1 point because they added a lot of ice hahaha. The place is okay. Not too big and not too small. There are 4 chairs. And the location is pretty good. It's near the cinema and the food court.
I'm an avid tea drinker. I take it with or without sugar, cold or hot. I like my tea strong or at least it emphasizes the flavors of the tea. THINGS I ATE: GC Earl Grey Milk Tea Ice Cream (Less Sugar and Less Ice) (5/5) FOOD REVIEW: My usual cup of tea is Earl Grey. I asked the lady what they put on top, if it is matcha, it is. The GC House Special has salty cream topped with a bit of matcha powder. That hint of matcha powder gave the tea that earthy flavor that brings out the greatness of the tea. I like my milk tea to be a bit creamier so I always add a scoop of ice cream and so far it is the only milk tea in Manila that lets you have that option! (3/5) SERVICE REVIEW: It depends on which branch, but sometimes they have a smuggy lady or they don't know the tea being served! I've never encountered them getting my orders wrong but their knowledge of tea is lacking for a tea shop. Nonetheless it gets my tea done the way I like, which it should be since milk teas should give you an option to customize any tea to your liking. Depends on which branch, on some days it's busy, some days not. But even in busy days, once you place your order, you'd get it right away. (5/5) AMBIANCE: It has this oriental feel. Across most branches I've seen, it has that classy design. Often times places where they provide chairs showcases circle pattern metal chairs that is usually lucky for Chinese or Asians in particular. Also, across their branches, they make use of black granite or at least a granite of sort. It really gives the place a luxury feel especially mixing it with the red. If a palace has its own milk tea shop, it will look like Gong Cha. (4.3/5) OVERALL: The name of the restaurant, “Gong cha” is actually a Chinese word that means offering the best tea. Customizing tea is important for me since it's something I really love and I know what kind of tea I wanna have. Sometimes I even make it a hobby at home to mix different blends of teas. Quality wise, the tea is really the star of the show! Not the sugar, not the milk. It's the tea. If you ever visit this shop, go find your own taste. Whenever I go for milk tea, I never go for the fruits, nor the chocolate, or whatever there is aside from tea. It is a more logical choice to go for the tea itself. Most Filipinos love their tea really sweet. Nothing like a scoop of ice cream or two can't solve.
