Providore - La Ville de Bonifacio

My new go-to place for good comfort food. I wish I would have dined here long ago. They have the best chicken and waffles I’ve tried to date. And for that alone, I’d say Providore is a must eat restaurant. They have an extensive menu that will sure to cater to a lot of preferences. I can’t wait to be back.

The food we ordered were delicious and tasty. The grilled pepper and herb US beef belly was soft and chewy. It comes with a mashed potato on the side. The steel plate cooked garlic butter “salpicao” steak was amazing and perfectly cooked. And of course, their big fried lumpia was the best.

Comfort food. We have a behaved dog with us and they allowed us to sit at a table by the entry. We ordered boil ed egg for the dog and it was done well. The manager was very nice.

Providore is one who makes provision; a purveyor. Actually, upon entering their restaurant, there are shelves stocked with local purveyors with a wide array of products. As a provider, they have everything here, Bistro, Coffee Bar, Cakes Pastries, a bar, and even kitchen provisions,. Providore is a fresh go to restaurant that offers not just authentic American and home style Filipino cuisine but a full experience that will take you back to the “good ol’ days”.

It's attraction at first sight. The place is really attractive. The interior is good for the eyes, plus it has some sort of home-y and cozy feels. It has an intimate ambiance, perfect for chilling and chatting with family and friends. The Chicken is tasty, and the dish that I am really attracted to is the Carbonara. I like how creamy it was, and the trick of mixing the egg with it definitely added the rich flavor. Winner, indeed!
