Panda House - Lafayette

I ordered two combo plates through GrubHub. 1 Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein and 2. Dragon Phoenix (General Tso’s Shrimp in Garlic Sauce). The Bourbon Chicken was dry and tough and the Shrimp Lo Mein was ok. The General Tao’s Chicken was cut in huge pieces but very tender and moist. The shrimp in garlic sauce had tender vegetables. There were very little distinct flavors in any of the dishes; the food was hot and edible (The Bourbon Chicken, just barely). The portions were good size. Will I order from them again? If I can’t find anything better, probably. I’ve just moved to Lafayette and this was my first Chinese food experience here. I hope I find something better!

Not much eating space, very quiet but Food is ALWAYS good and affordable

Great little Chinese place. The food is super fresh for Chinese. My Fave for Chinese is the general Tso chicken. They use white meat chicken unlike most other places that use leg meat or thigh meat. The Tempura battery they use is also very simple and clean, not in the way of sauce or chicken. You need to change her oil frequently, and I never had this problem here either. Lo mine was also excellent. Definitely a new Fave.

Great combination Lomein and Knödel. This is my place for Chinese. The roasted rice is typical, nothing special. Everything else is fantastic.

Lunch Review. Very clean, good servce and the food is the best in Lafayette. My new favorite place well done!
