Spoonbill Watering Hole - Lafayette

I stopped in Lafayette on my way to New Orleans and enjoyed dinner here with my wife and two kids. Although we arrived on Saturday night at 6pm, there was only a 15 minute wait. The food and service were both stellar. I ordered the grilled fish (mahi while I was there) — it was cooked to perfection and super flavorful despite being relatively simple on paper. Great service! A surprising menu with everything from the familiar burgers to amazing fusion items. I had the duck Bao, which was spectacular! I've got to go back and try more of the menu items because everything looks unique and inviting. Treat yourself to unique and share so I know what to try next time!

Pretty neat location to grab a bite to eat and socialize! It's an old gas station that has been convert into an unique experience. I got a commander burger and tuna on a toastada. I really enjoy my meal. Great flavors and presentation. If you in the area give it a try for a tasty blend of flavors
