Cafe Gil Eanes - Lagos

Love to come and sit watching the world go by . Food or snacks lovely , staff great and if you are lucky they have live musicians

This cafe is a great place to stop off for a quick bite to eat and a drink. It’s set in the main square of Lagos and normally while your seated there watching the world go by there is usually some kind of singing/busking going on. The service is good although sometimes it’s a bit too quick, but overall this cafe is a great choice. Lovely snacks, friendly service and very clean. They have fresh Limonade (lemonade made with fresh lemon) which you must try it’s so so refreshing on a hot day. The toilets are very clean too which in my book always says a lot about a place.

We visit this cafe every time we are staying in Burgau. We walk over the cliffs to Lagos and are always welcomed here. Service is great the guy in charge is excellent. All the other waiters/waitresses are excellent also. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice drink and snack.

Friendly staff, good quality, nice athmosphere to watch the crowd walking along the gile eanes monument. good music from local Musicians. Pedro and his Team do very good job. Go there to have your own impression.

We always visit the cafe when in Lagos. Really relaxed atmosphere and drinks and food are really good. Staff are really good and very friendly. Cafe has the added advantage of great street musicians. Definately the place to while away the afternoon.
