What a hidden gem, if you are staying in Kaanapali or in the area this place is a must try. Huge portions, great taste and texture. Was a bit skeptical reading some reviews but I’m glad I did not let them sway my view. Thank you all!
I've been coming for years and I really like this place. Orange chicken, Mongolian beef and the bbq poke lo mein are my go to's.
This is a man and his wife making incredible Chinese food. There's not a ton of servers, but the food came fast. The food was amazing. We had Mapo Tofu, which was delicious and spicy. The Eggplant with Garlic Sauce was sweet and salty, and the Egg Fried Rice would have been Uncle Roger Approved. As a vegetarian, the menu was very helpful because they explicitly stated which dished could be made with no meat. If you are looking for a casual restaurant with authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go.
I would give this place 0 stars of that were possible. The food was not great considering it was $100 for four people. The lady who was our sever was rude and rushed us when we were deciding what to order, once we ordered she threw our menus on to another table and marched away. The food didn’t take long to come out but it was definitely not worth $23 a meal. The lady was rude and it was extremely hot in the building, being in the Hawai’i it’s hot everywhere it was extremely hot in this building. The chicken was chewing and every thing was just kinda sloped on the plate. There being so many cool places to eat on Hawaii I would recommend any other place besides this restaurant.
