Maui Brewing Co. Lahaina

I'm a local resident and have been here twice. Recently was two days ago. Sad there wasn't any flat bread, however our bartender, Preston, made it a very worthwhile experience. He had good suggestions on both brew and foods. We were very pleased with our experience. Recommend sitting at the bar in the evening for a great experience. Kudos!

Pretty upset at this. My family has been eating here for a long time and I know this restaurant is filthy dirty and the health department closes it down. It's pretty ridiculous. We should never ever go back. I would encourage none of you to go back. This is criminal in any nature of any way of running a restaurant. This could've gotten people very sick. Ridiculous. Ridiculous. Ridiculous. This is a major restaurant to look like this there's literally uncalled for. . Everyone should be fired and re-model the entire restaurant. .

Brewed Over Having just arrived in Maui and checked into our AirBnB, we were all in need of some sustenance. So we drove out in hopes of finding a quick bite, but our first options were packed, and we eventually settled on Maui Brewing (MB). This is a satellite MB location based in a nondescript strip mall not too far from Kahana Village Beach and a few other resorts. The Good: *Beer is freshly made as their main brewery is a short 20-30min drive away. *They appeared to also have the full complement of beers, including their year-round brews, as well as seasonal and even hard seltzers on-tap. *My son enjoyed his Mac and cheese, and everyone else seemed to think their food was decent to good. The Meh: *Fresh on the island, I really wanted an island specialty and their Loco Moco was a big fail. The beef patty was dry and underseasoned, the egg was a bit overcooked, and the rice was, well, rice... The Ugly: *Server was either (A) high af, (B) drunk, (C) completely apathetic, or (D) all of the above. My money is on D... This seems like a regulars type of joint, so tourists probably stick out and aren 't really welcome. *The space itself is dark, dingy, and depressing--the complete opposite of their main brewery/restaurant, which we loved for the record. TLDR: Unless you 're a local yokel, then don 't bother coming to this dump. Stick to their main brewery where the customer service is terrific and the vibes much more welcoming.

I wish they would update their Yelp page to show they are temporarily closed. This is my first time in Maui and I drove all the way from Haiku-Pauwela. I was wanting to try this place out and get some merch. Meh.

We were in Maui Fourth of July weekend. Enjoyed our service here and would definitely come back. Tasty Burger 5/5. Mac and Cheese was flavorful and cheesy 5/5.
