Farm Table Inn - Lake Cowichan

This is the most lovely place to have dinner. We were treated to the prime rib buffet and the food, wine and service were excellent. The local theme is evident in the quality meat, seafood and vegetables as well as the wine list. I am treating myself to brunch tommorow.

Was at the Mexican buffet night and could not rate this high enough. Fresh, authentic and beautifully presented food. Amazing selection and those made to order fajitas...wow. Amazing job George, Ev and the rest of the team...I will be bringing as many people as possible to this polished restaurant and farm. 6 stars.

Our first visit (definitely won't be the last was father's day brunch buffet! Such a charming location; very soothing atmosphere. As there isn't a lot of seats it was very homey and comfortable. Everyone was there to enjoy good food with their families. The food was so delicious...Farm fresh eggs (yolks were so golden! ; homemade sausages and amazing bacon. Cinnamon infused French Toast; and those who tried it said the chowder was amazing. Many other items on the buffet but one can only eat so much... Desserts were heavenly too. Thank you Evelyn and your wonderful staff.

My wife and I stopped by this morning to see this amazing Sunday brunch that we had heard so much about. Well there was a reason that everyone is talking, it is that good! It was a pleasure to sample the buffet lined with with such a diverse selection of offerings all skillfully crafted by Chef George. From his made on site sausage and liver pate with locally sourced meats to the savoury Dim Sum. Our entire meal from start to finish was a treat for our palettes right down to the delightful fresh made desert treats to top off the meal. Evelyn was warm and inviting as she ensured our visit was a pleasant one. NOW....this was just the food, we haven't gotten to the location. Nestled along the Cowichan River on the way to Lake Cowichan on Hwy18 the Farm is tucked under large cedar and fir trees in a rustic countryside farm. I look forward to visiting again when the full farm operation has taken life and meals can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio. I highly recommend a visit in your future.
