Contribuisci feedbackWe've been coming here for 5yrs. This was the worst ever. Building 6 smells of mildew, carpets are stained and matted with grime. The oven in the room didn't work. Dirty dishes in the cabinets, coffee pot broke off in my hand. Ladybugs in the bedroom and the water main broke leaving us with brackish water that we couldn't bath in or wash dishes with. The 2 telephones didn't work so you can't call the front desk directly. The next morning they cam and fixed half the problems so we stayed. That night the water main broke again and we couldn't bathe. It's now 4 days after out stay and manager Kimberly has not returned my calls. Rooms: Outdated and lacking equipment. Some infested with ladybugs
My family, including myself, wife, and 2 kids, ages 8 and 9, my 2 sisters, mom, brother in law and their 3 kids, plus his sister, mom, and neice all went there as a weekend trip for my niece's 7th birthday (belated) celebration. Certain areas were nice when you first walk in at the town center, but it ends there throughout the whole place as it's obvious the place is dated and maintenance is anywhere where it needs to be. Numerous holes in the ceilings, stains from what was either plumbing leaks/ maybe roof leaks. Tiles falling out everywhere. Definitely has seen better days I'm sure, but it was VERY quiet for what it could be if it was in better shape overall. The layout sucks for navigating the halls, signs nowhere to be found where they should be to help so you're not looping around trying to find the elevator if you have to go up to the 3 5th floor. Which we were all on the 5th. Even though it was requested almost 2 months in advance we wanted to be close to the water park seeing that there were going to be 7 kids and 2 pregnant women. One being my wife, and the other my one sister. Got told people under 18 can't be in the spa and I'm looking for the sign, and I put the pieces together on it, but the main part stating that is worn off and almost unreadable. Beds were not comfortable nor the pillows, I had to use 3 to get by and I slept awful but the heat/ac worked that was a plus. Overall you can tell one of two things will be happening. 1 the place closes from not near enough revenue or 2 a new owner buys it and tries to bring it back from the dead. I did read a little bit ago about a makeover coming so I hope it happens. This place is much smaller compared to Kalahari but it was much more ideal for the Waterpark in some ways. A big one being able to keep an eye on the kids easier and not worry someone is taking them or something. Would like to give it another if they get it basically fully remodeled and get some nicer people in some areas through out, but I'm not going into that. The Halloween stuff they have going on was not the most kid friendly although the piñata was excellent for them, the candy was not. Cheap stuff with a few good ones and mostly gum. Which was not ok for the real young ones. But points for the effort though. Definitely some effort by some people by doing seasonal events but needs more thought and planning to me. Bowling was great though, we had 2 lanes with 6 people each and they worked flawlessly and with some jukebox music going with the lights that was a good end to the night. Again the ceilings everywhere are rough and even down at the bottom where the arcade and bowling is, it's not very good. Overall before going right now don't go with high expectations and it's overpriced to me for what you're getting overall, but if the makeover is in the works to happen, could be worth checking out again after it's done. 5 rooms all basically the same But my family was in 5811
Honestly I really like this hotel. The location is perfect for a weekend vacation. We stayed there one night. It has extremely beautiful view and the room we booked is very big and clean. We saw 3 deers on the road when we just left the hotel in the morning which makes our day! Great service, easy to check in. I would say it really worth the price Rooms: The room with 2 queen beds are very big and comfortable. We can see the beautiful view from our windows. Bathroom is luxury and big too
Resort running down. Nothing much for kids. Indoor pool just ok. I see no improvement from my last visit. Outdoor pool closed. Breakfast buffet trimmed down also. I don't see much future of this resort. Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 3
I found out they are pet friendly last time when I stayed in a condo as an RCI timeshare exchange, but they said they only have 2 pet friendly units and they must be reserved ahead at the time of booking. RCI lists ‘no pets’ so I went to their website and found the pet friendly policy and fees and then emailed the resort last week but received no reply as of yet. Perhaps the associated hotel is completely pet friendly and the condos are more limited. Unfortunately there are no condo vacancies left for the dates I require. It was otherwise a lovely resort.
